Argi Casta was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Hijos de Doña Beija's players had a chance to rest. Jyrki Sillanpää had several of the Chile's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Thiago Pliego as he didn't even see the shot coming. Argi Casta made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. Adan Inge replaced Abelardo Domenec. 91 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Rocha in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Argi Casta was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Hijos de Doña Beija's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Andrea Pirlo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
