Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Shaki Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Shaki Conn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Lucas Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tracy Shah in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Navarro in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Felix Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaki Conn having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Navarro in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ForestFire's Lucas Navarro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 after 31 minutes of play. Shaki Conn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Tracy Shah got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Lucas Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Lucas Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Navarro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cãlin Tâmbalari hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Navarro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shaki Conn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ForestFire's Shaki Conn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, ForestFire's Shaki Conn got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. ForestFire succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
