The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 姜烨洋 was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 麦朗誉, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 韩伟常 having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 72nd playminute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 石弘寒 in the 76th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute.
