Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Airborne FC's Wanderson Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséas Tinoco. In the 8th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Airborne FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Airborne FC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Meira came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Wanderson Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Meira having to make a save. Basílio Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Silveira in the 29th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Meira saved Airborne FC from getting behind. Basílio Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Airborne FC's Basílio Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basílio Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Terra. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Meira having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Airborne FC's Basílio Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 51st minute of play. In the 52ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Airborne FC's Basílio Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Airborne FC's Wanderson Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basílio Meira was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Sebastian Villa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Villa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Basílio Meira made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. Basílio Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Meira having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Meira saved Airborne FC from getting behind. Basílio Meira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milagros Cabal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Basílio Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Meira came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Basílio Meira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Basílio Meira stood somewhat misplaced when Edmundo Espiga came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 84 minute. Basílio Meira made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Airborne FC's Kléberson Meireles managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian Sancho in the 92 minute of the game. The Airborne FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
