Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Vacker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Rune Vacker. FC NILS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Vacker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rune Vacker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Bruhn to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rune Vacker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Anton Bruhn. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leif Ahlkvist made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Rune Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Näver during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Luz Palacio replaced Daniel Zorita. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Rune Vacker to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in FC NILS's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Vacker came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC NILS's Rune Vacker. Rune Vacker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rune Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Ahlerot hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Vacker. Rune Vacker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luz Palacio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Vacker. That made the score 0-7 after 82 minutes of play. Nils-Eric Johansson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rune Vacker but with some difficulty. FC NILS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Rune Vacker, making the score, 0-9.
