Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Bai Yan Feng with Arvin Svanberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Arvin Svanberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oskar Sandell struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karen FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ma Yong Jun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ma Yong Jun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Slawomir Majak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ma Yong Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of the match. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Svanberg in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute Arvin Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Majak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Karen FC defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ma Yong Jun. The Karen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ma Yong Jun should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. In the 83rd minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karen FC throughout the match.
