Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Leonardo Penha. But to his dismay, Leonardo Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Angelo Bertoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. Federico Vani kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Lütfullah Arıhan fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's protests and gave Lütfullah Arıhan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfullah Arıhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Bertoni. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Penha came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armando Panella took the corner. After taking down the ball on ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's corner Armando Panella fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hong Qi Yan hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xu Zhen Ping in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Xu Zhen Ping could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Davide Di Tommaso sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Panama booed when ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Di Tommaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diguinho Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Angelo Bertoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Angelo Bertoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Miralles went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xu Zhen Ping made a kick off. In the 56th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bertoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Penha in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Federico Vani hit a great ball. Angelo Bertoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. 62 minutes into the match, Leonardo Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes of play, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Xu Zhen Ping made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Zhen Ping in the 74th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Angelo Bertoni made a huge save. After 79 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. After 81 minutes, Miguel Miralles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Bertoni. That made the score 4-3 in the 86 minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
