Rickard Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rickard Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 26th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Brendan Leblanc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendan Leblanc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 37th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Kingpins's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc did a great save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickard Lundgren made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc. Brendan Leblanc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kingpins's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brendan Leblanc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brendan Leblanc made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Brendan Leblanc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rickard Lundgren took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 66 played minutes, Kingpins's Karl Trulsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kingpins reached it. In the 67th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendan Leblanc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 70th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kingpins made a substitution. Roger Västerstrand replaced Guo Ke Peng. Kingpins made a substitution. Bo Kruuse replaced Rickard Lundgren. After 74 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Bo Kruuse took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Kruuse in the 83rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kingpins.
