Guo Ke Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Rickard Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brendan Leblanc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Stiff Rambo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingpins's supporters rose to their feet, but Stiff Rambo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Brendan Leblanc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Arrigo Tonon kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Brendan Leblanc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Ke Peng came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arrigo Tonon fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingpins's protests and gave Arrigo Tonon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Arrigo Tonon hit a great ball. Kingpins's Roger Sandström was substituted for Ove Ahlström. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Kingpins's Bo Kruuse was substituted for Rickard Lundgren. In the 74th match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Tonon to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Ignacio Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan Leblanc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
