Laércio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Giorgi Mamardashvili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgi Mamardashvili. Akira アキラ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgi Mamardashvili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 31 minutes, Laércio Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The attack was good, but when Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 38th minute, Josué Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Giorgi Mamardashvili. Akira アキラ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Giorgi Mamardashvili made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes, Laércio Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akira アキラ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giorgi Mamardashvili could save by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Akira アキラ's goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Giorgi Mamardashvili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Akira アキラ throughout the match.
