Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Aloísio Lendaa sent off a good shot on target. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 5th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aloísio Lendaa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aloísio Lendaa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Lendaa in the 20th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Cornelio Olayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Staffan Åman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baxters Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Åman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Börje Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Lendaa got free with Julio Vera in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Aloísio Lendaa made the kick off in the second half. Johan Bäckman kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Staffan Åman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54thth minute of the game Cornelio Olayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 minutes Baxters Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 58th minute, Radomir Debowy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Staffan Åman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Staffan Åman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Börje Albohm however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Åman in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Cornelio Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aloísio Lendaa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aloísio Lendaa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aloísio Lendaa's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Julio Vera on his right side and into the goal. 81 minutes into the game it was 2-0. In the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Baxters Boys fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Baxters Boys's Aloísio Lendaa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Baxters Boys had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
