Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Fred Kariuki made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Annscroft's Patrick Kush got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Annscroft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Leakey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdallah Ali Maina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Coryn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Annscroft's Christopher Mungai got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Vercalsteren in the 14th minute of play forced Annscroft's goalkeeper Abdallah Ali Maina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Leerbels in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdallah Ali Maina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Kariuki got free with Leo Dauwen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen got control of the ball when Fred Kariuki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdallah Ali Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Leerbels in the 22nd minute of play. Annscroft's Abdallah Ali Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Leerbels in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Arnoud Van Gestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdallah Ali Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Annscroft's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Abdallah Ali Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdallah Ali Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Coryn in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Julius Asati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annscroft and the Bacardi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Annscroft:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abdallah Ali Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Leerbels, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Kariuki in the 57th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Dauwen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Leakey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdallah Ali Maina. Abdallah Ali Maina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Roni Coryn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdallah Ali Maina was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the game, Paul Leakey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annscroft's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. Abdallah Ali Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Coryn in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Annscroft's Jonathan Onyii nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Dauwen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Bacardi FC's Arnoud Van Gestel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdallah Ali Maina. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. In the 89th minute, Paul Leakey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Annscroft defense, Arnoud Van Gestel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdallah Ali Maina. The Annscroft fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdallah Ali Maina should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Roni Coryn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdallah Ali Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes Annscroft's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bob Leerbels who took care of the corner kick. Bacardi FC's Bob Leerbels was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abdallah Ali Maina in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Bacardi FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Annscroft.
