Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Leerbels in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdallah Ali Maina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonathan Onyii had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdallah Ali Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roni Coryn in the 12th minute of the match. Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Onyii in the 16th minute of play. Bob Leerbels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Ali Maina having to interfere. In the 19th minute Arnoud Van Gestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdallah Ali Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Dauwen made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fred Kariuki sent off a good shot on target. Julius Asati kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The Annscroft players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
