When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Hansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 29 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Xentrias's Jonathan Hansson. Jonathan Hansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 54 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Miklós Császár. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Hansson came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Jonathan Hansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Hansson. Jonathan Hansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Hansson. That made the score 0-10 in the 69 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jonathan Hansson in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Jonathan Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xentrias throughout the match.
