Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Dimitriou went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Anestis Dimitriou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Naranjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. Andor Szepesvári's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esteve Naranjo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced ZLA FC's goalkeeper Esteve Naranjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZLA FC's Anestis Dimitriou shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play forced ZLA FC's goalkeeper Esteve Naranjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after ZLA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esteve Naranjo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ZLA FC's Esteve Naranjo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andor Szepesvári made a kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andor Szepesvári in the 51st minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Esteve Naranjo made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristóf Bakó in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ZLA FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Naranjo came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anestis Dimitriou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Andor Szepesvári ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Naranjo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Esteve Naranjo could save by the left post. 90 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Naranjo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andor Szepesvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but ZLA FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
