The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A sloppy throw-in by 梅克树 in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 40th minute, 邱正帆 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guus Harmsen in the 93rd minute of play. Peru played a much better game than ≮王者归来≯风起青萍之末 and deserved their victory.
