Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Batuhin in the 13th minute of play. Cuatrodeocho's Giorgos Puyol quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 15th minute of the game. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Giorgos Puyol, made in the 21st minute of the game. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. The corner led Cuatrodeocho's Sid Wilson to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuatrodeocho's Rambo Jon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rambo Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cuatrodeocho's Rambo Jon got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cuatrodeocho to leave the ground with a draw.
