Enzo Morais came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Teves in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Morais. ZEZOM TEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Morais. ZEZOM TEAM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. ZEZOM TEAM's Gernando Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Avram Râznicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Enzo Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ZEZOM TEAM's Enzo Morais got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Teves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
