Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abram Sarmiento kicked off to start the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Cardinaal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on De Pelgrims's corner Erben Roelofs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Henk Cardinaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Eger. In the 18th minute Henk Cardinaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Perivaldo Eger took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Eger in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Zoetmulder saved De Pelgrims from getting behind. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Pelgrims's goalie prevented a goal. Montrel Perpiñán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Theo Tuyp hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

59 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mike Zoetmulder. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Huub Gerrits came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After a defensive mix-up in De Pelgrims's zone, Abram Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Zoetmulder came out of the goal and Abram Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mike Zoetmulder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Abram Secada was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Colombia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 83rd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Eger came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Henk Cardinaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save De Pelgrims from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute of the game Fu Peng Feng made a throw-in which Mathias de Ruijter played forward. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
