When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danail Dobroslavski made a kick off. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Iskren Ermenkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the match, CSKA Diamandievo's goalkeeper Vitko Chervenyashki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Fernandino. Julio Chicote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Vitko Chervenyashki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Joshua Miralles got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Vitko Chervenyashki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Vaskov during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Vitko Chervenyashki to make any attempt to save it. Julio Chicote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Valcho Penevski in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz. In the 93rd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitko Chervenyashki. The goal made the score 2-3.
