Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Ronaldo 吴鹏:s penalty. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witold Pryla in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Pryla in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witold Pryla to make the kick off. Guy Grimault charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guy Grimault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nightmare's Guy Grimault got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 56 minutes, Witold Pryla made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Secada in the 59th minute of play. The Nightmare fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Nightmare's Witold Pryla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nightmare fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
