Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Benitez started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmund Lenertej was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Lenertej having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tang Han during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nightmare's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmund Lenertej in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Pryla in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Witold Pryla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Edmund Lenertej was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 58 minute of play. Edmund Lenertej made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo 吴鹏 in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geoff Turner hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Edmund Lenertej to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Grimault to maneuver through the defense. Nightmare's Ademir de Sena was substituted for Ronaldo 吴鹏. A collision led to Nightmare getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Guy Grimault hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita suffered a concussion after 79 minutes and had to leave the field. Taka Jachvadze's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taka Jachvadze helped the player get up and apologised. Taka Jachvadze kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Edmund Lenertej made a huge save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Edmund Lenertej tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Aznaro charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Aznaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Tomas Aznaro got his second yellow card in the match during the 99th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 99th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than Nightmare and deserved their victory. The Nightmare players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
