After a rather tough play, EC AliensCrazy 2023's Luiz Gustavo Meireles got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, KFC Uerdingen 05's Friedemann Brede seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Friedemann Brede the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KFC Uerdingen 05 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Friedemann Brede had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 17th minute, one of KFC Uerdingen 05:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KFC Uerdingen 05. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for EC AliensCrazy 2023. Armando Donato stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oscar Sandkühler. 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Didi de Mendonça came free, but Oscar Sandkühler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Meireles's late challenge caught a KFC Uerdingen 05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Gustavo Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. When Ehrhard Bonacker came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the KFC Uerdingen 05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ehrhard Bonacker couldn't finish the play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Alois Fontagnier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC AliensCrazy 2023's Hamílton Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamílton Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alois Fontagnier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, EC AliensCrazy 2023 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho da Mata to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedé Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Rau. In the 69th match minute, EC AliensCrazy 2023 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Alves to maneuver through the defense. Hamílton Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerlach Rogatty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Ehrhard Bonacker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Uerdingen 05 and the EC AliensCrazy 2023 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiaguinho da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Sandkühler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Hamílton Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerlach Rogatty's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
