Leszek Mazierski kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Witold Debowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlau's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Debowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Sandkühler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Modlau booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ellis Jakob didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ellis Jakob hit a great ball. If Krzysztof Cielencki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witold Debowski made a kick off. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Teobald Glogowski hit a great ball. When Witold Debowski came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Modlau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Debowski couldn't finish the play. Lech Zdrojewski hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Alois Fontagnier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Uerdingen 05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alois Fontagnier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Glogowski. 82 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Gerlach Rogatty came free, but Remigiusz Huk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Modlau booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alois Fontagnier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Moryl came free, but Oscar Sandkühler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigiusz Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ehrhard Bonacker in the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Modlau's Remigiusz Huk got control of the ball when Edgar Rau tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Mazierski to maneuver through the defense. Stasio Moryl hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
