Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Ramiz Çubukcu came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FCFiratRom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiz Çubukcu couldn't finish the play. Kai Laakmann's late challenge caught a FCFiratRom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kai Laakmann helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 minutes KFC Uerdingen 05's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rahman Bulut who took care of the corner kick. Rahman Bulut made a great header on FCFiratRom's corner, it was just that KFC Uerdingen 05's Oscar Sandkühler managed to reach the ball for a save. When Münir Kocakalp fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCFiratRom's protests and gave Münir Kocakalp a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KFC Uerdingen 05 booed when FCFiratRom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Münir Kocakalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Ehrhard Bonacker sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FCFiratRom's Kıvanç Sorgun didn't even have to move. Oscar Sandkühler came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by FCFiratRom's Ramiz Çubukcu. But to his dismay, Ramiz Çubukcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's goal looked a bit too open when Gerlach Rogatty came free, but Kıvanç Sorgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Necaettin Safih. After a rather tough play, FCFiratRom's Rahman Bulut got a free kick in the 37th minute. Necaettin Safih hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Fethi İdilkurt hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerlach Rogatty was the one to do the kick off. If Sebastian Szymanski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nasir Akkın notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KFC Uerdingen 05's Oscar Sandkühler. Oscar Sandkühler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KFC Uerdingen 05's Edgar Rau got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Ramiz Çubukcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Sandkühler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiz Çubukcu in the 70th minute of play forced KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Oscar Sandkühler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, FCFiratRom's Vahap Ergenç made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Sandkühler was left in no man's land by his defense there! The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when KFC Uerdingen 05's Gerlach Rogatty looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahap Ergenç got free with Oscar Sandkühler in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Gerlach Rogatty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıvanç Sorgun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Szymanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıvanç Sorgun having to interfere. The FCFiratRom supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FCFiratRom would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
