Mauro Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 37th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute, Marcelo Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Montae in the 46th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Severiano Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júnior Alagoano in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amboy FC's Severiano Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Madureira in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Pio came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Maximino Aznaro got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
