A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Marcelo Eger hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Corderun during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Corderun. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Marcelo Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Esdras. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Esdras should have stopped the shot. Júnior Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cayetano Esdras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Eger went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cayetano Esdras came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger. But to his dismay, Marcelo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sarmento came free, but Cayetano Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Eger hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Marco Bezerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cayetano Esdras. De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Marcelo Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Ronaldo Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Bartoleme was the one to do the kick off. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Bartoleme in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo da Fonseca in the 53rd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Marcelo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Gomesano came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Patrido's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Patrido to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Geovani Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Esdras. De Boedo Vengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Cayetano Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 85th minute of play. When Júnior Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave Júnior Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Marco Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Lázaro Turi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doni Seco skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The De Boedo Vengo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Castanheiro SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
