Radenko Mayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amboy FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after KFC Uerdingen 05's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximino Aznaro took the corner. Amboy FC's Jaime Ekhi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radenko Mayer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute Ratko Leibold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Andrau in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Andrau came free, but Severiano Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Andrau in the 27th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Ekhi during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Jaime Ekhi got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gregor Reinauer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Filomeno Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Anelka charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Anelka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Anelka. After 40 played minutes, Amboy FC's Jaime Ekhi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radenko Mayer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amboy FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Pio in the 43rd minute of play forced KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Radenko Mayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosius Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Amboy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosius Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ambrosius Hoffmann hit a great ball. The KFC Uerdingen 05 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amboy FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Pio to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Santiago Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Gabirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KFC Uerdingen 05's Radenko Mayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Montae in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eustacio Senin hit a great ball. Alois Fontagnier hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Filomeno Pio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Radenko Mayer made a huge save. Ambrosius Hoffmann got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Ambrosius Hoffmann got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alois Fontagnier hit a great ball. With a little luck, KFC Uerdingen 05's Radenko Mayer got control of the ball when Maximino Aznaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Aznaro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radenko Mayer saved KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting behind.
