An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 7th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Zachariasz Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Elmhuus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Constantijn De Hond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Michael Guisla hit a great ball. Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 37th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulgencio Pudes, made in the 39th minute of the game. In the 43rd match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Guisla to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Guisla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Marquez. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gong Qi Fan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, one of Playa Malvín:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Playa Malvín. Playa Malvín:s Nils Elmhuus showed great skill when he stopped Hector Montrel:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Quinto Ampudia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Chmielecki was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zachariasz Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Quinto Ampudia sent off a good shot on target. The Playa Malvín players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
