VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stelian Murgu who took care of the corner kick. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Murgu in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Playa Malvín's corner Stelian Murgu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armindo Salgado quite easily take care of the ball. Playa Malvín's Stelian Murgu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mattias Jonasson in the 14 minute of the game. In the 15thth minute of the game Stamen Tekeliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stamen Tekeliev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Stamen Tekeliev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Mattias Jonasson in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Playa Malvín's Sandu Mândrilă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 37th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Stamen Tekeliev notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of VB-Team's Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

A well-hit corner resulted in Sandu Mândrilă heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Sandu Mândrilă. Quinto Ampudia struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Armindo Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa Malvín. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. If Alvise Catapano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Quinto Ampudia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Hăvârneanu in the 82nd minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Quinto Ampudia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Malvín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Quinto Ampudia hit a great ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Quinto Ampudia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, one of VB-Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VB-Team. Gervásio Severiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Teixeira having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Quinto Ampudia made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
