VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 11th minute of play forced AC ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Arnoldo Canor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Joaquim de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC ALDO BONZI's Arnoldo Canor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Caeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match, Eelco Houtman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armindo Salgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 21 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Jago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Kun Yuan in the 22nd minute of play forced AC ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Arnoldo Canor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Blair came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Peeters in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, AC ALDO BONZI's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Arnoldo Canor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Peeters in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Gervásio Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Severiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Canor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Sandro Leitão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC ALDO BONZI the free kick. After 44 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Leitão. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Blair to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, AC ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Arnoldo Canor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervásio Severiano. Arnoldo Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Gervásio Severiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoldo Canor. The goal made the score 0-1. Joaquim de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VB-Team made a substitution. Yu Ke Hong replaced Sandro Leitão. In the 64th minute Tomas Peeters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Traian Hăvârneanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Canor made a huge save. Arnoldo Canor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 87th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Traian Hăvârneanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC ALDO BONZI's Arnoldo Canor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Traian Hăvârneanu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnoldo Canor. AC ALDO BONZI's Ramon Castel was substituted for Octave De Coster.
