Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Smolarek in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Cyprian Smolarek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Smolarek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Smolarek to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Fontirroig got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Zbyszek Sobczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Mondrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Mondrowski in the 77th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mikolaj Rekowski managed to get in a good position for a shot.
