Benicio Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to C T Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Paulo José Capixaba hit a great ball. Xan Descapa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the game, one of C T Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xan Descapa went to the wrong direction when Hector Fero was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Ekain to make the kick off. After some careless play in the C T Futebol Clube defense, Elpidio Ekain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xan Descapa. The C T Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xan Descapa should have stopped the shot. Ñacuñán AC's Santos Cayo was substituted for Hector Fero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Ekain in the 60th minute of play forced C T Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Xan Descapa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tarvi Laanemets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Ekain might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xan Descapa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Ekain ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Elpidio Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Descapa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C T Futebol Clube made a substitution. Xan Descapa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Ekain in the 78th minute of the match. Xan Descapa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ñacuñán AC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after C T Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosme Lauaxeta took the corner. The corner ended in Santos Cayo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C T Futebol Clube's Xan Descapa did a great save. Elpidio Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Gustavo Goiano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of C T Futebol Clube booed when Ñacuñán AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes C T Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Goiano. When Allande Sans in the 96th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Raul Lipp kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 5-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ñacuñán AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C T Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
