After 9 minutes of play, The Owls's Gino Galante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piotr Ikalewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Endorfina Dukla's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Harroyo came free, but Piotr Ikalewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Ikalewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Galante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Endorfina Dukla booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arman Akcebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Emander having to interfere. Gino Galante struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Piotr Ikalewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Galante in the 44th minute of play forced Endorfina Dukla's goalkeeper Piotr Ikalewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
