The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Soto got free with Bolo Skjold in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Pepe Sibaja got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 11th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Pepe Sibaja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LinuX F.C. and the Protegéerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Soto got free with Bolo Skjold in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Ulrik Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Petter Skarkman made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Arias. LinuX F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ulrik Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 29th minute of play. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Protegéerna from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Elmer Lozano came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Arias having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmer Lozano to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Arias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The LinuX F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Protegéerna were winning 0-2.

With a little luck, LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias got control of the ball when Petter Skarkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Skarkman in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Arias saved LinuX F.C. from getting behind. Bernardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Arias. Bernardo Arias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Skarkman got free with Bernardo Arias in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo Låsberg replaced Fernando Arango. Protegéerna's Michael Näver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Arias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bernardo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the LinuX F.C. defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Arias. The LinuX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Arias should have stopped the shot. Petter Skarkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Guido Python left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Bernardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolo Skjold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmer Lozano's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The LinuX F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Protegéerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Protegéerna.
