An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 8th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éthan Pichard in the 11th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, LinuX F.C.'s Elmer Lozano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bad Harzburg's zone, Frank Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Matuch came out of the goal and Frank Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Soto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. Silvestre Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Arias having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Soto got free with Jacek Matuch in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Minor Godinez made a kick off. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Mena, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Elmer Lozano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Loi got free with Bernardo Arias in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Takeshi Bieberstein came free, but Bernardo Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minor Godinez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Matuch saved SV Bad Harzburg from getting behind. LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éthan Pichard in the 69th minute of play. Bernardo Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Nordine Ighil kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. LinuX F.C.'s Jorge Padilla was substituted for Frank Soto. Bernardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éthan Pichard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Takeshi Bieberstein got free with Bernardo Arias in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Jorge Padilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacek Matuch was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Bernardo Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Loi in the 96th minute. When the match was over SV Bad Harzburg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LinuX F.C. throughout the match.
