The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhammet Ökten got free with Göran Bröms in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6 minutes of play, BRUGGE FC's Helder Cadanes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Bihar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göran Bröms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Silvanito's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Göran Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Silvanito in the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Silvanito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Göran Bröms. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Placido Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Bröms having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Silvanito came free, but Göran Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Silvanito in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göran Bröms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BRUGGE FC's Göran Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Silvanito in the 30th minute of play. Rigoberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Avelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrigai Guau in the 33rd minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Rigoberto Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate ® 9-12's zone, Petrigai Guau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Bihar came out of the goal and Petrigai Guau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Silvanito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Göran Bröms having to make a save. Rigoberto Bihar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radoslaw Zagrodny went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Göran Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Silvanito in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Avelar came free, but Rigoberto Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Placido Silvanito took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Göran Bröms to make any attempt to save it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Silvanito made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Placido Silvanito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate ® 9-12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Silvanito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When River Plate ® 9-12's Placido Silvanito in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BRUGGE FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Avelar in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rigoberto Bihar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute of the match BRUGGE FC got a corner. River Plate ® 9-12's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mahmut Aurelio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led BRUGGE FC's Radoslaw Zagrodny to fire away a dangerous shot which Rigoberto Bihar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, BRUGGE FC's Rigoberto Bihar threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petrigai Guau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rigoberto Bihar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Avelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammet Ökten, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Rigoberto Bihar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Avelar. River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helder Cadanes in the 69th minute of play. Rigoberto Bihar was a little too slow when Rui Avelar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-3. River Plate ® 9-12's Akhilleus Rallis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomasz Hoffman, made in the 74th minute of the game. In the 78th minute of the match, Helder Cadanes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rigoberto Bihar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rigoberto Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Zagrodny in the 80th minute of play. River Plate ® 9-12 made a substitution. Cayetano Iratxo replaced Muhammet Ökten. In the 89th minute Placido Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The River Plate ® 9-12 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BRUGGE FC's performance. The match ended with a win for BRUGGE FC.
