In the 2nd minute of the match, Samuel Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mías Khalifa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Redbourn AFC's Samuel Yang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mías Khalifa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Redbourn AFC's Samuel Yang quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sabri Ravelli, made in the 6th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Chan got free with Mías Khalifa in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romain Berrewouts in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. In the 18th minute Romain Berrewouts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Samuel Yang hit a great ball. Romain Berrewouts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Romain Berrewouts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romain Berrewouts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes, Redbourn AFC's Zafran Chuan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mías Khalifa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redbourn AFC reached it. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romain Berrewouts in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hidayat Peng was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Simbo FC got a corner. Redbourn AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabri Ravelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romain Berrewouts in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Anselmo Leocadio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo was substituted for Romain Berrewouts. Tincho Palermo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afiz Teo. Afiz Teo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Simbo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sabri Ravelli in the 70th minute. William Weber was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 72nd minute Victor Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Farhan Ching hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Redbourn AFC's Shafiq Chien-Kwan got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farhan Ching didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mías Khalifa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Tincho Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afiz Teo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After having played for 87 minutes, Tincho Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tincho Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, Victor Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Khalifa came out of the goal and Victor Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Farhan Ching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redbourn AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simbo FC the free kick. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Farhan Ching hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Victor Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbourn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Simbo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
