Iulian Bocs short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Edgardo Rondanelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 6 minutes into the game, Armindo Amado lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Edgardo Rondanelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Raphael in the 11th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lolo Acharan came free, but Piara Tittarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piara Tittarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lolo Acharan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Piara Tittarelli came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Marcelino Fritz. But to his dismay, Marcelino Fritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Amado in the 18th minute of play. Piara Tittarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Mikel Señoret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piara Tittarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piara Tittarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lolo Acharan in the 24th minute of play. Piara Tittarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lolo Acharan in the 25th minute of the match. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikel Señoret in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lolo Acharan in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piara Tittarelli saved Reconquistense FC from getting behind. Piara Tittarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lolo Acharan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Fritz in the 34th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Seme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Edgardo Rondanelli made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lolo Acharan to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Amado. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Arnulfo Gamus replaced Tomás Raphael. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Amado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iulian Boc came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Reconquistense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Boc couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Reconquistense FC booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lucas Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Marcelino Fritz made a precise shot to the right of Piara Tittarelli. Reconquistense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reconquistense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Javiero Charme was slow to take the kick. During this time Talcampeón FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Talcampeón FC's Mauricio Vidma to fire away a dangerous shot which Piara Tittarelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Marcelino Fritz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Piara Tittarelli, 1-3. Edgardo Rondanelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Ahlqvist's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Talcampeón FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Reconquistense FC.
