Afiz Teo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronn Yi-Sheng to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Romain Berrewouts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Afiz Teo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Simbo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Mías Khalifa had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Hidayat Peng's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Redbourn AFC's Hidayat Peng made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mías Khalifa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidayat Peng in the 30th minute of play. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Yang in the 31st minute of the match. Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Koh in the 33rd minute of play. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Koh in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Cheng came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Tan Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romain Berrewouts to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nestor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mías Khalifa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Yang went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute of the match, Samuel Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mías Khalifa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romain Berrewouts in the 59th minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Trinidad hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Simbo FC made a substitution. Tincho Palermo replaced Romain Berrewouts. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Trinidad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Sancho in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Redbourn AFC defense, Nestor Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiz Teo. The Redbourn AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiz Teo should have stopped the shot. Afiz Teo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Simbo FC's Nestor Sancho. But to his dismay, Nestor Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Tan Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Mías Khalifa made a huge save. Tincho Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afiz Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Nestor Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tincho Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes Redbourn AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabri Ravelli who took care of the corner kick. Tincho Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afiz Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Redbourn AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Simbo FC.
