In the 15th minute, Atlético Capixaba's Jorge Meirelles seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jorge Meirelles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Capixaba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Meirelles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 16 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Meirelles. Vitinho do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Charles de Brito made a huge save. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Bastos in the 26th minute of the match. Hu Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiao Yue in the 27th minute of play. Celso Maciel made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Maicon Cavalcante however managed to control. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito got control of the ball when Natã Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Qiao Yue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Capixaba and the A A Arizona players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Qiao Yue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Wiliam Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hu Zhen Hong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Fu Jun Feng replaced Alessandro Araújo. A A Arizona made a substitution. Tiago Gabriel de Sousa replaced Vitinho do Valle. The wind increased when Wiliam Perez made the kick off in the second half. Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio de Mendonça in the 53rd minute of play. If Lyuboslav Penev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyuboslav Penev in the 60th minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes of play, Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hu Zhen Hong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Perez in the 71st minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Eutor to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Pereira in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Pereira in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Natã Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles de Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
