CRISDIELDAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qiao Yan Jie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, CRISDIELDAN's Lúcio Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Teles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vágner Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lúcio Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Catarinense in the 25th minute of the match. Ediberto Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Gol in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Lúcio Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Teles. Atlético Capixaba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lúcio Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CRISDIELDAN booed when Atlético Capixaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Capixaba defense, Lúcio Catarinense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Teles. The Atlético Capixaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Teles should have stopped the shot.

Patrick Teles came out of the goal and Marquinhos Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Capixaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRISDIELDAN the free kick. After 56 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Barreto. Marquinhos Leme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Teles having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Marquinhos Leme took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Patrick Teles to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute, CRISDIELDAN's Marquinhos Leme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrick Teles. Patrick Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Fernandinho França replaced Acácio Figueiredo. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Aílton Branco replaced Durvalino Torres. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Capixaba's zone, Marquinhos Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Teles came out of the goal and Marquinhos Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Leme succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Tande in the 82nd minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Patrick Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CRISDIELDAN's Caco de Carvalho was substituted for Percival Palmeira. Lúcio Catarinense was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Patrick Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Yan Jie in the 89th minute. CRISDIELDAN's Qiao Yan Jie managed to work through Atlético Capixaba's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Qiao Yan Jie dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Antônio Carlos Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, CRISDIELDAN's Lúcio Catarinense got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Antônio Carlos Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded CRISDIELDAN left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Capixaba.
