In the 27th minute, one of Sacri FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sacri FC. Independente FC's Cahyo Rantung pulled a muscle in his back after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Oliver Askelöf fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacri FC's protests and gave Oliver Askelöf a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Raí Prestes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Arvid Bremming. Max Sandström charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Arvid Bremming was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Marquez made a kick off. Nilson Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Arvid Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvid Bremming was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raí Prestes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 52 minute of play. Arvid Bremming made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luiz Marquez sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Duarte got free with Arvid Bremming in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Independente FC's Luiz Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arvid Bremming. Arvid Bremming yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Luiz Marquez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Arvid Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independente FC. After 72 played minutes Sacri FC got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Kvist. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Luiz Marquez sped through Sacri FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arvid Bremming. In the 81st minute, Raí Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Arvid Bremming. Sacri FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Marquez in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvid Bremming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nilson Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Independente FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sacri FC throughout the match.
