Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sílvio Luís Pinho kicked off to start the match. Gustavo Gomez Blanco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Azevedo having to make a save. When RIBEIRÃO FC's Lukáš Modrić in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. The RIBEIRÃO FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when RIBEIRÃO FC's Lukáš Modrić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neymar Santos during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 minutes, Celso Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ and the RIBEIRÃO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Juan Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukáš Modrić in the 14th minute of play. Benjamim Vargas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Juan Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Mariano Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Cardozo's late challenge caught a RIBEIRÃO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Cardozo helped the player get up and apologised. Mariano Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Juan Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lukáš Modrić came free, but Juan Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hílton Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukáš Modrić in the 31st minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Juan Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Lukáš Modrić put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Azevedo. 36 minutes into the game, Lukáš Modrić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Juan Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th match minute, RIBEIRÃO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Silva hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Lukáš Modrić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Juan Azevedo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by RIBEIRÃO FC's Wágner Alves. But to his dismay, Wágner Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute Lukáš Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angelo Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Gomez Blanco hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Neymar Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Modrić in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukáš Modrić in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Azevedo saved Nova Erechim - FSCMZ from getting behind. The supporters of RIBEIRÃO FC booed when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Juan Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukáš Modrić. 81 minutes into the game, Lukáš Modrić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Azevedo. Lukáš Modrić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Juan Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukáš Modrić in the 92nd minute. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Juan Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukáš Modrić in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded RIBEIRÃO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nova Erechim - FSCMZ.
