Diguinho da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Pinho in the 18th minute of the match. Nildo Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Juan Azevedo made a huge save. Juan Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nildo Alcântara went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hílton Guedes got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sílvio Luís Pinho. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Nildo Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Juan Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. 32 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Nildo Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Benjamim Vargas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Otávio Niedermeier fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 47th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sílvio Luís Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diguinho da Mata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Cléber Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. After some careless play in the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ defense, Cléber Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Azevedo.
