An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Hromchenko in the 29th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Silverio Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes of play, Dynamite's Evgeniy Kobeko made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Cordara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Armando Manuelo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Silverio Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Kobeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Aimar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Silverio Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Mierzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filimon Nesterenko got free with Silverio Cordara in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara got control of the ball when Filimon Nesterenko tried to sneak it across the goal line.
