Isaac Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refael De Boeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Salkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Ingelbert having to make a save. In the 40th minute Ove Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Ingelbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Gubbhöft were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after KV Schoonwater's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Incendio took the corner. After taking down the ball on BK Gubbhöft's corner Simone Panetti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Ingelbert quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Lucas Van Geertruyden in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Gubbhöft's Brian Alströmmer.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Salkvist to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ove Salkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Gubbhöft fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ove Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Gubbhöft's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Salkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Ingelbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Geraerts in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Bosse Bacon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Gubbhöft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bosse Bacon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Ingelbert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Ingelbert saved KV Schoonwater from getting behind. Daniel Ingelbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 87th minute of play. Daniel Ingelbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Hans-Georg Luabunnum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Daniel Ingelbert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Abel Van Den Wijngaert got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Ingelbert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Georg Luabunnum's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. KV Schoonwater's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
