Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ceferino Miro made the kick off which started today's match. KV Schoonwater's Daniel Ingelbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Miro in the 4th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Gilberto Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Ingelbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ceferino Miro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Daniel Ingelbert to make any attempt to save it. When Sven-Edvin Viklund fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Schoonwater's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Viklund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Viklund hit a great ball. Silverio Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refael De Boeck in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Refael De Boeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Schoonwater's supporters rose to their feet, but Refael De Boeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Cordara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Abel Van Den Wijngaert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Van Den Wijngaert made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Sven-Edvin Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Miro came free, but Daniel Ingelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Silbestre in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Ingelbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sven-Edvin Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Schoonwater's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Edvin Viklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. KV Schoonwater's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Miro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Daniel Ingelbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Silverio Cordara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Refael De Boeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pino Van Hinnendaels hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes, Artemio Malvin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Esparta and the KV Schoonwater players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Malvin. Silverio Cordara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Franky Musseeuw replaced Abel Van Den Wijngaert. 94 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Musseeuw came free, but Silverio Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The C.A.Esparta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KV Schoonwater were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
