The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Ermegildo Delgado threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bora Ersal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Savaş Lütfi in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rasmus Højlund. Güral Adanır's late challenge caught a Asturcones d´la Abadía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güral Adanır helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Asturcones d´la Abadía a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Valverde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković. 1-2. Asturcones d´la Abadía's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Rasmus Højlund scored to the left of an out of position Ermegildo Delgado, making the score, 2-2. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Stojmen Tujković successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
