Hoàng Thuy struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Modesto Theodore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uno Mille FC. Teobaldo Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Paunero's Modesto Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Rossi in the 38th minute of play. Modesto Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Guillermo Geofredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Rosa was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Rosa in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Theodore saved Paunero from getting behind. Paunero's Modesto Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Paunero from getting a goal against them. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Semeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Macario in the 89th minute of play forced Uno Mille FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
